"LifeMoves On" Marjorie Lipari©1993
A Prayer a Day
12/31/10

Life moves on
Rippling currents
Surrendered we to flow
Can’t map back to here again
Choosing yes
Letting go
And we admit we miss the past
Moments shown not meant to last
We resonate these human tones
We make contact with spirits’ zones
Though human heart
Has come apart
Dozens upon dozens of times
Love steels us all
Love breaks our fall
Love spins
Life’s wheel sublime
With human hand
This fertile land
We’ll bloom
To full capacity
With faces glowing
We’ll keep on going
With kindness and tenacity

"It Was Love That I Invested"
  (Retreat Photo©2010 by Carolyn Smith)

A Prayer a Day

12/30/10

Waves of my ancestors

Echoing in me

Roots of my beginnings

Foundation of my tree

Praying to know more about

Who and where I’ve come from

Mortal dealings

Internal feelings

Steady heart

Beating drum

Dreaming dreams

Of natures' creatures

In harmony I rested

Not a speck of discord featured

It was love that I invested

A Prayer a Day

12/29/10

Rather than criticizing those

who do not know, let us teach them.

The inexperienced become experienced, only

and of course, through actions of learning.

Pointing out the obvious sometimes solves

problems, sometimes exacerbates them.

Positive results live in the tone of our intentions.

Knowing when to speak and when

to listen hones the skills of a master.

Egos' judgments deepen wounds.

Love heals.

Discernment save lives.

Acceptance is a formula for

humanity to strengthen in spirit.

Heeding impulses to assist others

is a sign of angelic wiring.

Compassion blossoms harmony.

"Falling Blanket Covers White" Marjorie Lipari©2010
A Prayer a Day

12/27/10

The snow

The storm

The winter winds

Beyond delays

The pleasure dims

They had to CANCEL every flight

His daughter’s wedding was tonight

Red letters flashy on the wall

Planes are halted one and all

Patient man

Restless child

Sitting here too long a while

Trains won’t move

Buses stuck

Cars plowed in by city trucks

Slipping  sliding

Careful now

Easy does it

Nor’easter....Wow !!

Pray this day our dreams survival

Pray this day our safe arrival

Falling blanket covers white

Towering drifts blinding sight

We are waiting watching time

Fuel for stories poetic rhyme

Hoping soon wishing yearning

For engines humming propellers turning

"A Natural Thing" Marjorie Lipari©2009
A Prayer a Day

12/26/10

May we find the way,
the path of wholesome living.

May our relationships fortify our lives.

May our needs be met
with compassion helping others.

May companionship be flowers in our gardens.

May we join with hearts to beat in natural rhythm.

May our mortal voices resonate in truth.

May our prayers invite miracles of healing.

May our minds flow freely to discover ah ha moments.

May we wake and hear our sacred songs.

As we travel each our mortal road,
may we be emboldened by our spirit.

May we each come to realize inner peace
and truly imbibe divine joy.

A Prayer a Day
12/25/10

Hum with thee
Drum with thee
Serenades of love
Touch be tender
Soul surrender
Pray the healing of
Walk with thee
Talk with thee
Hold another ’s hand
Lamb of fleece
Practice peace
Hearts to understand
Live with all you’ve got
Can’t you see...why not
Happiness will turn your way
Angel spirit will want to stay
Give your self completely now
To every moment you know how

"The Greater WE" Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"Happy Season" Marjorie Lipari©2009
A Prayer a Day

12/24/10

May what comes this day

Be received with gratitude

May what’s given

Be born of hearts sincere

Pray peace be known

To every dreamer’s journey

And the grace of  Mother

Love be always near

Hallelujah  Hallelujah

Precious body

Precious soul

Hallelujah  Hallelujah

Truth be sown from stories told

Pray our eyes to glean the saints

Pray we gather with our angels

Pray our ears imbibe

The harmony of spheres

Pray this life

Is sunlit golden

Pray this life

Is plenty free

Pray this life

Is lived more simply

To become

The Greater We

Cherish all

For who we are

Taking care of

What we’ve got

Blessing everything

That’s ours

Blessing

Every living dot

 Accepting now

What’s so is so

Accepting now

What’s not is not

" WE Is the Root of Happiness"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"If Love Is Eternal..then?" Marjorie Lipari©1988

A Prayer a Day

12/23/10

Pray this day for all to

live with untroubled hearts.

For all to think with worry less minds.

For unconditional love to bloom everywhere.

For rainbows of forgiveness to grow in us

out of the light of our love’s reasoning.

Wishing now upon bright stars

alchemistic.... WE is the root of happiness !

Crying out to the altars of sister/ brother souls

that mother earth shall be safe in our human hands.

In the gardens of our sanctuaries,

may we seed our own compassion to

skillfully repel the mortal mountains of

our egos with spirit as our lifelong carabiners.

Seeking lotus vision.

Tracking breath’s precision.

Staking claims to sanity.

Waking into our humanity.

"Quantum Leaping" Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"Sweet Bird" Marjorie Lipari©1988
A Prayer a Day

12/22/10

She lived loyal to her spirit devoted to the unknown.

She trusted her life and honored her true nature.

Her favorite exercise was quantum leaping.

In the silent stillness of her meditations
she discovered an all embracing inner grace.

“Life is a mystical, magical, shape shifting,
who knows where we’ll all be going...ride.”
She would muse to herself.

Comfortable or not, each of life’s experiences
was engaging and informing to her
human self...granting her a deeper vision.

She prayed to see the roads ahead with sober sight.

She prayed to meet the stormy weather
with mystic might and steady feet to ground.

Soaring up and down with courage,
she braced life’s roller coaster.

 Spinning with this sacred planet
acting as a mortal messenger in space.

Praying, taking time, thoughtfully choosing sounds.

She knew each word she spoke would resonate to
merge with all that ever was, ever shall be, and
would indeed affect upon the here and now.

And so she understood...And so she was reminded.

A Conscious use of words was indeed a great responsibility.

"Winter Is Here" Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"Lying In The Dark Feeling All The Heat"Marjorie Lipari©1990
A Prayer a Day

12/21/10
“Welcome to Winter.” said mother bear to cub.
“The time is come to settle inward.”
“The great cave shall be our bed of slumber.”
“ Season’s Spring will meet us upon
our return from the Dream Lodge.”
“Sleep my little one... make way
the truth that’s known to silence.”
Measure for measure.  Breath for breath.
Beat for beat.   Step for step.
Every heart dances for someone.
Every soul reaches toward light.
Calling to lovers to teach the whole world.
Riding the wheel with compassion unfurled.
Designing today with hope and more clarity.
Refining today with wisdom and charity.
Chanting for kindness... hear us...we pray.
Spirits who enter.... this ticking.... space way.
Partnered by  Sun ...Whose fire is camp.
Lunar now full ....eclipsed.... Solstice lamp.
Glow to be  seen...Glow to be hidden...Glow to be seen again.
Ceremonial skies we duly commend.
And our Mother Earth with actions so generous.
Who nurtures us all and feeds us her beauty.
To honor her body it seems to me.
Is the given, the natural, the moral duty.

"Love Alleviates" Marjorie Lipari©2009

A Prayer a Day
12/20/10

Our prayers are rising up to heaven

Our fears are falling to the void

Love alleviates our pain

Your gentle eyes a good refrain

Coming into sunny weather

In darkness we all hold together

Peace awaits our prayers to answer

The moment’s cast sways spirit dancer

War’s  proclaimed a thing of past

Storms were never meant to last

A Prayer a Day

12/19/10

This day WE pray together

That sacred things shall come

Praying that our light increases daily

WE call to love

To nurture

To restore

WE hone your visions...Lord

Sightseeing through the mysteries

Readied we your dynamic genius force

Dreaming miracles blooming into being

Priming wells of life to geyser upward

Beating hearts keep time in god vibrations

Courageous mortals dancing the unknown

Together living here we will refine

Balancing our egos and reflecting the divine

Respecting earth our mother

WE illuminate reality

Embracing one another

WE enlighten actuality

"Innocence Remembered" Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"Innocence Remembered" Marjorie Lipari©2005

A Prayer a Day

12/18/10

I remember every infraction

in my life committed by me, almost hauntingly.

I cannot possibly forget any of the times

when I have offended the spirit core of myself.

Every harsh gesture toward the innocence in me
or in another sits there in my memory’s files.

Today I release, let go, incinerate all sins of recollection.

Realizing no purpose is served in their replay
for they no longer exist.

I do not wish to spend my energies screening
holograms of shadows past.

What I will carry with me is a holy reminder
to be gentle with myself and with the innocence
of all life.

May I step back from condemning anything.

May I avoid slam-dunking my mortal
vibrations with self criticism.

May I truly and utterly give all those
who have wounded my ego with their ego
 over the years..... full pardons.

Today I am free.

Today you are too.

May we love ourselves and each other.

May we manifest our souls' intentions
living our days as vibrantly tender beings.

"We are All We've Got"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

" Art Aficionado" Marjorie Lipari ©2005
A Prayer a Day
12/17/10

Exhaling and listening following
my inner eyes toward the holy light in me.

Making headway... witnessing my thoughts as
they come and go of their own design.

Wishing an enlightened pop will quantum leap
me now letting go all things of  past,
surly burdening beyond their time.

Pray I release the dead weight now.

Show me how to free both hands.

Reaching far into inner space
save both feet to earth’s ground.

With practice I erase mind’s illusions... all.

I raise my heart up to the masters
praying peace on earth and in me too.

I raise my voice up to the angels asking
that you bring your songs.

Sing through me oh please.. please... do.

A time is come to realize we are all we’ ve got.

 Let’s give our all...lifting those who’ve fallen
and abide our truest nature.

Kind and wise.....  Set us free.

Let us see ourselves to be.

Yes,

"Focused Attention"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"Focused Attention" Marjorie Lipari©2010

A Prayer a Day

12/16/10

We get what you give.

A simple statement we have all heard before.

Staying conscious of the quality and the content
of the energies we put out into this world
is an essential part of any spiritual practice.

At times what we give and what is

returned to us can be so very subtle.

What and how we think reflects out and

back to us in ways we do not even know.

  Every gesture holds a message.

Every tone of voice vibrates specific signals.

There is a universal language in our eyes and in our hands.

Each of us is constantly communicating,

even when we think we are saying nothing.

And there is in us the perfect receptors for the truth.

Some part of our awareness is always tuned in.

We are capable of reading each other

 in astonishingly accurate ways.

Bodies vibe each other even when

personalities are not paying attention.

Bodies can detect vibrations that

feel good and those that do not,
as energies meet energies

and hearts meet hearts.

We know that our minds do create interference and static,
so focused attention is helpful in the art of giving and receiving.

Today I pray we intentionally give

the very things we wish to receive... with open hearts.

And may we know that the key to giving

is expecting nothing but to simply

give for its own sake.

Life has a way of returning to us her graces
in forms that are meant to be and often
far greater than what we imagine.

May the messages we send to
each other this day be nurturing.

"Friends Who Know Me"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2010

"Friends Who Know Me" Marjorie Lipari©2008
A Prayer a Day

12/15/10

In the cold of winter she dressed with
layers of course, making sure the bitter winds
would not impose upon her slight of body.
She liked the clean fresh air that rushed
her nose as she stepped out of her apartment.
It made her feel alive and ready and awake.
It was as equal a treat when she would return home
from the harshness of the season temperatures
to enter into her warm , cozy, humble domain.
“Isn’t it good to have a roof over our heads ?”
.....almost singing to her animals upon her return.
God comfort the homeless.
God comfort the hungry.
God comfort the lost of spirit.
Though I am not a materially rich mortal,
for everything I have, I am truly thankful.
My richness is my spirit,  for I know it anchors me.
My treasures are the friends who know me
they are the lights upon my life's tree.
We each have our challenges.
We have our ways to see.
May each and every one of us
express our love deliberately.
