Considering that only a small, tiny, minuscule part of the whole
 of reality is shown us, if even that much, today I muse:
What is this phenomenon we call Reality?
Who are we? Where are we? What are we doing?
And for whom might we be doing the doing, if for anyone?
I ask this seeking not proof nor assurance, but I ask it because I can.
This alone is a great thing.
I can….because I can.
 I am….that I am.
I breathe….because I can .
I move my body…. because I can.
I think... because I can.
What a treasure…this... I can factor.
As I am a part of the whole of reality, today I wish to be one among
 many who create with sacred vision and skill, while I am here
doing the doing.
 I pray to lesson from complications and to veer toward the holy simple,
refined with a heart smile, as I approach the next moments of existence,
because I can, stepping joyfully into the mystery
musing this thing we call Reality.

At the moment unwinding the dreams of my head
The sun splendors rays warm light on my bed

There is something about church bells ringing 
that I find to be divinely comforting, often traveling me to distant places in my mind.


I am now hearing them ring out from the church on the corner, they are centering and reassuring to me, arousing in my soul ancient memory, that embraces my senses and lifts my spirits in pleasing vibrations.


There is a mystery about bells that transports 
me in my imagination, and it has been this way all my life and I say it is a good and lovely thing. 


Perhaps, I was a monk in a past life or Rudolf with that red nose prancing about proudly with Christmas sleigh bells.


I have bells and chimes in my home that I ring  
most mornings when I rise chanting
“may peace prevail on earth” and also within my own heart.


It must begin with me, I say, and I am admittedly far from always peaceful.



May I deal daily with any discord or uneasy feelings in me responsibly and only with compassion.


Reaching into a truth that still waters run wise, wild and deep, might I spend days in the depths of my own stillness repeatedly baptizing myself, so to speak, in sacred waters of peaceful surrender. 


May I be my own healing influence to 
“light-carry” the wise, wild and deep currents of my passions into creative blissful 
purposeful manifestations.

What a gentle winter enters
seems spring hangs yet upon our trees 
and the strength of sun does hold the breeze
Squirrels are beyond the moon …. Is it December or is it June
Perhaps the humans blew a fuse
The creepy crawly is amused
Is this a thing to call good luck
Or has the clock of time been struck
Shall we romp and roll in joy like laughter facing nature’s toy
Let’s race and fly in circles play…. singing birds this morning say
What a day ! What a journey! What a good place to live!
Earth oh earth oh skies above
With this day are you in love

 to love quantum leap in service to others.

Being asked today by a friend,
 “What is Love, really what is it ?”
Feeling her compassion, sincerity and the frustration in the question,
and her statement that love was the most overused word, I thought about it.
What is love ?
To me love is kindness, generosity of heart,
being considerate of the needs of others,
patient non judgmental listening,
gentle forgiveness of errors, loyal friendship,
harmless actions, availability of spirit,
sensitivity to that which is vulnerable in all of us,
 nurturing behavior, collective efforts that benefit everyone,
 helping on the spot, maintaining integrity in relationships,
staying true to oneself, honoring humanity
and the innocent reach to grow.

I don’t mind so much this word love being overused.
I think it is resilient enough to survive way past exhaustion.

Grateful today for the question.

“If only they had listened to mes ”
Then again we just might blame it all on the
other ones
 or
you
or
me
or
the allies of the allies of the enemy
We could put more tension on the rip cords of polarity
 and stay stubborn and stupid telling our stories under
the direction of the Kings and Queens of Ego
or we could snap out of this delusional dream and
learn finally and thoroughly
everything…..everything
about love.
