A Prayer a Day

As the universe expands
in us, through us, and as us,
what on earth is holding up
the growth of our consciousness ?
Have we not been born here
to become more love, as the moon turns
and the sun rises, day after day,
in the name of our divinity?
What do you suppose is holding us back ?
Why would we choose
to separate and abuse ?
Is not the light within us supreme ?
Is not the spirit we share pure ?
Are not our hearts naturally
designed for compassionate creation?
Do we not each crave to
belong and yearn to be loved ?
As the rivers flow
As the earth spins
As we swim together in the great mystery
Let us unravel these illusions of fear
Let us build reality now with clear vision
Let us embrace the grace that is real in us
Let us return to where
innocence resonates intention
Let us manifest in only
healing harmless ways
