Everyone’s time comes
One day we each and all shall move
into the realm of the spirit no longer
in need of flesh nor body's blood
in need of flesh nor body's blood
Lifted into light...made free
Upgraded and refined
Oh holy instant sublime
We pray for the gentlest
and most conscious of transitions
and most conscious of transitions
We pray for all who are
leaving this life...this very day
leaving this life...this very day
We pray for ourselves when we are
called into the sacrament of mortal release
We pray for the tender and vulnerable
We pray for the innocent and complex
We pray for all hearts and souls divine
We bow with grace to the holy cycle of life
