A Prayer a Day

Is there anything
potentially NEW under the sun,
unfamiliar, unknown to mankind,
yet to be imagined?
Or is the all that is that will ever
be merely our repetitive dreaming?
Same words ! Same thoughts !
Same feelings !Same experiences!
Simply dressed in different costumes.
Appearing in slightly different form.
Are we living history repeating ourselves
just playing with more advanced toys?
I imagine that something
that is genuinely NEW
might just deliver itself from
advanced alien worlds.
I welcome that which mortal imagination
has not as of yet, been able to imagine
to come into fruition to lift us and guide
us into unadulterated peaceful realizations
on pathways of love we have not yet walked.
To me that would be NEW.
