A Prayer a Day

Grateful I am to have a roof over my head
Grateful I am to have ears that hear
And eyes that see and clothes to wear
And a bed to lay upon and peacefully sleep
Thankful I am for nourishment and good health
Over the moon I am grateful
for my animals and the gift of voice
I am oh so grateful to be inspired to write and create
I am most grateful being able to love and be loved
Today I celebrate our sacred mother planet
and I now bow with heart-humbled, thanking
the creator for the privilege of being alive
