Mortal perception can be
terribly inaccurate often
veiling humanity from
the here and now
body of truth
Conscious spiritual practices
can open our minds, move us beyond
our knee-jerk reactions and our sense memories,
clean the filters muddied by the footprints of ego
and walk us out of our forests of falsehoods.
Meditation is a god-gifted-glorious practical tool
making available the whispering voice of spirit
that so yearns to guide us away from our misconceptions
toward a lit self awareness with clearer eyes to see the truth
