September's first muse
Soon the leaves of the trees
will willingly, naturally, gently fall
in an ease of let go and a colorful dance
drifting around and around to the ground
soon to be heard as a crackling crunch of a sound
for children to playfully romp through and then to be raked
to disappear with no trace to be found until they by miracle
appear again next season's go ' round
The cycle of life
The wonder of living
The breath of reality
That we have been given
