A Prayer a Day

He woke in the best of moods
No longer knowing who he was
Seemingly he had not a care in the world
Smiling and giggling, behaving quite pleasantly
Feeling just fine, as he sat there on his fabricated thrown
Realizing… no longer… his VIP status… that he
rallied with… hard core… just yesterday
Absent of even the slightest
awareness of the power he wielded
In his head and heart, all was well
He was now a gentle being
You see he was rendered harmless
Not a mean bone in his body
The ugly of him was gone
All his toxicity was laid to rest
A thing of the past
A spiritual intervention had taken place
A holy dream, a vision, a prayer
Shifting the trajectory of the arms of power
toward the light into arenas of love
