A Prayer a Day

It is a miracle being human,
but it is not an easy exercise living as a mortal.
There’s lots to learn,
lots to discern and lots to act upon.
In other words, this life we
share is not a walk in the park
or a bowl of cherries, though both are
available to experience.
And breath!
Just think about
breath for a second.
What a gift this air we breathe.
It is overwhelming, this reality we play in and get to create.
I pray with humility, holy facility and the spiritual tools given me,
with love and gratitude for being alive and I count my blessings
daily and imagine wisdom and grace blanketing to heal this world of ours.
