Offering prayers of gratitude
For the trees /For the bees
For the birds /For the breeze
For the fish in the seas
Sacrificing themselves
Keeping mortal bellies full
Offering another prayer
Honoring nature so fair
Calling to the Holy Mother
For the heart and soul of every child
who suffers at the hands of crazy makers,
political ego monsters and war maniacs
May the power of your nurturing spirit
circle to embrace the innocent
of this world, lifting them into your
divine light and unconditional love
Holding them dearly in the
arms of harmlessness
May the seeds of common sense and sacred wisdom
grow within the body/mind of humankind so as to function sanely
