Today I reach inside myself to gather emotional courage.
Today I wish to have whatever it takes to step up to my
plate of truth with a willingness to play spiritual hardball.
May my capacity for compassion and kindness
increase in sensitivity and my ability and skill
 to love quantum leap in service to others.
I pray to meet life and circumstance with good sense and integrity.
 I pray that humankind be healed of all hate and misunderstandings.
I offer my energy to the efforts of angels as I listen in the
 here and now to the wisdom of the masters of the universe,
 that we all and each may share in their insight.
May we stand together as family motivated
and inspired walking the path of  light.

Give me the tenacity to keep going regardless of ego obstacles.
Give me the clarity of vision to stay insightful and vigilant about my intentions.
Give me an honest tongue to speak the words of a true heart.
Give me muscles of courage to stand strong for
 what I in my soul know is creatively correct.
Let me be love…And do as love does.
Let me live in service to nurturing purposes.
May I always respect the unknown and the unseen.
Relax in me any judgmental tendency.
I pray to forgive myself over and over
 for any illusions I have attached myself to.
I will to remain a light carrier in this mortal form.
I pray to join hands with fellow travelers
 that it may be of  benefit to everyone.

A Prayer a Day

Being asked today by a friend,
 “What is Love, really what is it ?”
Feeling her compassion, sincerity and the frustration in the question,
and her statement that love was the most overused word, I thought about it.
What is love ?
To me love is kindness, generosity of heart,
being considerate of the needs of others,
patient non judgmental listening,
gentle forgiveness of errors, loyal friendship,
harmless actions, availability of spirit,
sensitivity to that which is vulnerable in all of us,
 nurturing behavior, collective efforts that benefit everyone,
 helping on the spot, maintaining integrity in relationships,
staying true to oneself, honoring humanity
and the innocent reach to grow.

I don’t mind so much this word love being overused.
I think it is resilient enough to survive way past exhaustion.

Grateful today for the question.
