A Prayer a Day

If I look into the face of most any infant, more
than likely I will see a set of sparkling eyes of
love, filled to overflow with a luminous light.
Today I wonder what impulses a human
being, years later to intentionally rip apart and
destroy the lives of others?

I pray to the heavens above for every victim suffering the evil actions of deranged and dangerous minds.
Today I pray for humanity with a depth of passion,
reaching beyond my mortal self into the unseen realms of spirit, asking that WE be divinely nurtured with sacred seeds of grace,
skilled to heal the “damaged -sick- ones” among us….flat-lining any ill-will-capacity and mitigating any ability to devastate or violate the foundations of our innocence.
