If rhyme is lazy and the sky is hazy
and I am up and at it slanted
I pray away the crooked day
and every falsehood-mine recanted
If I be grateful and I be glad
and I say thank you to all I’ve had
If I wander and if I succeed
pacing grace on holy steed
Guilt and fear illusion’s game
Lovers’ lamp for truth reclaim
