I was so alive in my dream last night
though as I woke it slid from me
Yes, I lost that dream forever
but others I trust shall come
Images eternal...speak life
Imagination’s flame burns high
Inviting mortal stories
Tasting human glory
Awake or asleep
I AM that I AM
Breathing
And when I die
I trust that I shall fly
With the wings of my own spirit
The way I do in dreams
The way I did last night
