What is the name of this mortal game we play ?
What are the rules and who made them up?
What constitutes winning ?
Does someone always have to lose ?
Don't we all arrive at the same place in the end,
without ego, without body ,without things!
Aren't we pure spirit, ultimately!
Why all this rough stuff ?
Why all this mean spirited-ness ?
Why all this competition ?
There is no truth to be found in a reality of mirrors.
Why not stand for simply being
and truly loving life and each other in acts
of kindheartedness and collective compassion.
Why not focus on growing our souls!
