There is nothing
like the affection and warmth of a dear
friend's embrace and loving hug
It can carry a healing,
can offer comforting and
is a necessary part
of being human
It is an oh so sacred
touch of trust communicating
that we belong, that we are ever
so welcomed and that we are a part of
a shared holy paradigm of harmony
