A Prayer a Day

It is painful to fully
digest the unrest in this world
I pray for conscious actions of sanity and integrity
to lead us onto pathways of dignity of purpose
May peace prevail and truth rally
May the bells of compassion and kindness ring out
May we come together to embrace in light and love
May we dance and laugh and sing
to celebrate life with appreciation and mindfulness
May we partner once and for all with nature
to protect the very womb of our existence
