Waking up to gray
The rain in stubborn play
Indoors shall we muse
Barefoot without shoes
Active brainy
Spirit kin
Recollecting where we’ve been
Holding faith the sun will shine
For lack of light our minds unwind
Passing beyond this galaxy
The soul of you the heart of me
All lovers... friends....family... alike
We witness dreams slip through the night
To wake to mornings don’t and do’s
Discerning for whose sake we choose
So many issues
Rock bottom choices
Speaking up
The truth rejoices
