A Prayer a Day

We hear an angel whisper
We remember lovers kissing
It’s a wonder how our senses know
In the moments that go missing
In bodies through each life to sow
We really dearly wish to glow
Coming out we sing aloud
With lyrics sung spirit’s avowed
As wisdom speaks the heart grows reason
Bearing gifts earth’s change of season
And light lays passage for humankind
And holy arms hold us through time
In some ways we shall leap through fire
All souls shall master time’s retire
