A Prayer a Day

And the rain falls like a
miracle feeding the thirst of earth
As the sun hides behind dark clouds
masquerading its burn
The stars now are asleep to the human eye
The moon is waiting for her
evening’s performance like a pro
My heart is beating with gratitude for another day
I’m feeling love, breathing air, and praying that
humanity comes to realize a peaceful paradigm
