A Prayer a Day

I used to
get in my car and
take long drives to relax.
The open road was like a breath of fresh air.
That was in my very, very much younger
years, when the world seemed simpler
and pathways were much less congested.
Back then I might have been driving nowhere
specific, necessarily, but intuitively heading
in directions that teased me with
endless possibility, and offered
me miles of freedom.
Now my open road journeying
of choice is going within myself.
Traveling arenas of silence
into rich thoroughfare of
rainbow vibrations,
diving
deep into
treasure troves
of goddess spirit
Oh how she comforts
my heart and nourishes my soul
in currents of innocence and divine love
And I am restored...humbled with gratitude
