A Prayer a Day

04/30/11

Pleased to be

Happy to see

Grateful my body is strong

I’ve a distance to go

Taking it slow

Feathery good morning song

I’m up rather early

Mind’s in a twirly

To whom does my heart belong ?

Senses are wired

Body is tired

Black coffee

 I’m into play

Love’s a fine reason

Spring’s a fine season

Though day is holding to gray

My feline’s announcement is clear

 To worship and feed her

No doubt why I’m here

While always maintaining

And ego refraining

A spirit of service

A state of good cheer

"Was It Light That Thought The First Thought ?"
Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day
04/29/11
Who thought the first thought ?
Who spoke the first word ?

Who taught fish to swim ?

Who taught wings to fly ?

Why, why, why.... are we all here ?

Who brought the light ?
Was it the night watchman ?

Was it the morning dove ?

Why did the first drop of water drop ?
Who brought the air ?

How did solid get solid?

How did this earth come to be....REALLY ?

Who am I ....REALLY ?

Who are we.....REALLY ?

What is this paradigm we’re living ?

Who echoes us ?

Where do we go from here ?
What is the source of everything ?

Who can explain the unexplainable ?

How close are we to REALLY knowing ?

Was it Light that thought the first thought ?

Was it Love that spoke the first word ?

"We Feared Nothing" Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day

04/28/11

Outside of our circles laid random possibility

Outside of our boxes laid bigger circles

The absolute could not be measured

Everything was energy...energy.. everyday changing form

WE thanked god for god... WE thanked god for humanity

WE thanked god for god... WE thanked god for moving in us

We walked into her garden we were lifted

We walked into her garden we lit up

We walked into her garden

We were enchanted there

We were loved there

Love was our light... WE found....WE carried

Love was the only way WE circled the wagons

Insight was our arrows’ art

Art bore the children of our sacred visions

Our hearts knew everything...everything

WE dug deep....Wisdom inspired our souls’ reasons

WE feared nothing

Salvation had us in her arms

WE were human

WE were being

WE were breathing in the here and now

WE came to life for WE were life itself

WE let our hair hang down

WE  allowed our bodies dance

WE let our auras’ rainbows glow

Our vibration pleased the Ancient Ones

  "Practice Practice" Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day

04/25/11

If life is the giver how much
do you allow yourself to receive ?

And do you pay it forward ?

Does it not feel natural sharing the best
of yourself with your sisters and brothers ?

As you are about to live this day taking
another step on your mortal journey,
be the stillness of the moment.

Venture inward and scan.

Is there a part of your true self calling to you
that has for far too long gone unheard,
in need of recognition and healing,
that if handled...if loved...would indeed make your
spirit lighter and your heart more joyful on your new path.

Renewal and vitality are the bloom of wholeness.

Before you say no to your unknown...do
you consider what a yes might set in motion ?

Pray...do not close those wise eyes
only to miss moments and miracles.

Practice.......Practice

Timing...focusing...balancing...contemplation...meditation
deep breathing...spontaneity...flexibility...loving kindness
harmlessness...gentleness...tenderness...thoughtful boldness...courage...
tenacity...conscious daring...lucid dreaming
moral integrity...open-hearted-ness...mystical musing.

"Non Violent Awakening"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"More Than I Imagined" Marjorie Lipari©1991
A Prayer a Day

04/24/11

Seeking to find any and all pieces of my

life’s puzzle that make it clearer to

me which way to walk next.

I go within to flow on like an eternal river.

I am reminded by my inner voice that

nothing is stationary and no material thing permanent.

I relax into my sanctuary of sacred moments

where absolute silence and peaceful stillness meet me.

I watch my breathing.

I feel my senses settling down and

I begin to float on an energy not

common to everyday doing.

I reach to the masters of my higher consciousness

and way beyond a distance past mere mortal comprehension.

I activate my own forgiveness for every

daily error that may rise up from my ego.

I pray to recognize when I am off center and

to be gently escorted back in partnership

with natural order into the truth of me.

I wish my capacity for unconditional love

to expand and for humanity to have a sudden

non violent awakening....quantum style.

A Prayer a Day
04/23/11

It is a glorious, powerful, new and
who knows what will happen day.

I can say I am here with both eyes open,
ears alert,  all senses sharpened and as ready
as can be for the next breath I take.

How will this day walk itself in me ?

How many heart beats will I share with god?

What surprises will this day peak in possibilities?

Gratitude be my roar
Kindness be my veto
Love be my holy shore
Mindfulness my credo

"Life's Priorities"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

 "Life's Priorities"Marjorie Lipari©1991
A Prayer a Day

04/22/11

Power ..... love

Material ..... health

Money .....wisdom

In this life what is it that ultimately
matters to our living heart ?

To experience our own sense of  power ?

To acquire some material things ?

To have working  cash...$$$$$$$$$$$ ?

What is it that personifies life’s priorities ?

Good health and lots of loving kindness are the jewels of life.

May we all know to share in our abundance
with love as our oxygen for wholesome minds and bodies.

May we each enjoy a plethora of caring friends and

have what is genuinely natural flowing into our lives,

with the needed and necessary supply at hand.

May we cease alienating each other
with lusting egos over gold, things, power and property.

Balance and clarity of purpose I wish
for myself and for all of humanity.

Pray the right use of our mortal knowledge and curiosity.

Pray our commitment to growing in spirit
standing soldiered to innocence, with a deep
consideration for future generations,
and the welfare of this blue planet.

Asking to be knowing who we are and why we
are here together...now in time and space.

May sacred silence speaks to each of us.

Where might next

WE journey

On this day

A....new ?

What might next

WE find that's hidden in us

Before this day is through ?
Superb our minds

WE dare to look

We seek and find
The Living book

Pleasured

Treasured

Lost and found

Reaching high

Holding ground

WE shall

Love

The best WE can

WE are Brothers/Sisters

Mortals

 Holy Clan

"At Just The Right Moment"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

At Just The Right Moment" Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day

04/20/11

Years back perhaps more than fifteen, there was a man

I used to see restlessly pacing and darting in and out

of the street.  He was always at the same corner

brazenly approaching only male motorist for money.

I remember this man had a sharp stinging edge to him.

His begging style was overtly aggressive and hostile.

Obviously he was desperate and seriously down on his luck.

I witnessed him on that corner for more than a few consecutive years.

Each year he was appearing more down trodden.

Sensing that his energy was progressively getting more and more unstable,

I consciously kept my distance from him.

I could see the harshness of street life really

wearing him thin and frustrating his tolerance.

I always felt sorry for that guy.

Well today I saw that very same man passing by me.

 CLEANED UP.

Looking so dignified.

I mean together!!!!

He was well dressed and walking

with a balanced energy and a self confidence.

He was absolutely handsome ...practically glowing.

WOW.

It made me happy.

Resurrection  does take place.

Bless the somebodies ...some where..

who cared enough about this man that they did not let him slip through the cracks.

Bravo to his own spirit as a renewed being who saved his own life.

Today I send prayers around the world that many more like him

shall be uplifted in the hands of compassion souls.

May someone always be there to catch

us each.... at just the right moment.

"Patience Patience"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"A Musical Moment"©1985

A Prayer a Day

04/19/11

Little children tenaciously
remember the promises made to them.

When I was young my father promised

he would bring home to me a guitar.

 The next day I waited.

OH did I wait.....with bated breath for dad to come home.

When he arrived he was empty handed.

I was soooooooo let down.

The following night bore the same result.

This went on for three weeks and every moment of those 21 days was painfully exaggerated by my impatience and an acute experience of disappointment floundering about in my youthful enthusiasm.

But that final evening when DAD walked in with my beautiful new guitar

was one I shall never forget, and I remain to this day forever grateful,

loving him for opening up a world of

music, song, singing, and composing in me.

I never put that instrument down, and as a
result became a pretty prolific songstress.

Patience - patience - patience.... I am still learning.

It is a practice that never ceases needing my attention.

Especially now with faster and faster being the criteria

for every activity in our modern electronic and digital lifestyles.

May I slow down -tune in -get quiet -calm myself- relax-
take a deep breath of gods clean air and feel my own heartbeat.

 And meditate.

May I build within me an architectural design of sacred patience and stillness.

May my perceptions be refined in me and my actions meaningfully precise.
