A Prayer a Day

Before I get started

I shall go within

As I go within

hear me say "thank you"

To the breath of all breaths

To the one whom I owe my every mortal moment

I kneel with gratitude at the altar of life

May I reap having sown with seeds

of joy and compassion

Let the river of clarity run through my efforts

 that my efforts shall flow in a natural rhythm

to take root in a deep and realized

ground of being
