A Prayer a Day

The sun has risen again here this morning,
though hiding behind gray clouds of rain.

 Loyal forever a constant companion,
 in nature’s benevolence we live to remain.

Fortune is faithful and trust is accepting
 the now is unveiling the path and the way.

Prayerful and open, silent and listening,
hopeful and wishing in vision we pray.

The moon shall be showing her face tonight...piercing the darkness with her light.
Heavenly image across the sky… oh dancing lady… sweet midnight eye.

As  we inhale the breath of life...we quest into another day.
Challenged minds… debating times… keeping mortal words in play.

We seek to reach, to find, to love, to live the better wholesome way.

Who among us knows the truth ?

Who has caught the cosmic ball ?

Who feels spirit’s heart at root ?

 Who among us sees the all ?
