How do you choose to live within the

 confines of your physical being ? 

What dominates your thought forms ?

What understanding have you of 

the value of your mortal self ?

Are you champion to harmless action?

Are you listening with a discerning ear?

Opening your sacred heart wider? 

 Growing your self in compassion?

Letting each breath take you deeper into awareness?

Let shadow hold little influence on your doings.

Let your visions be married to worthwhile causes. 

Place love before everything else. 

Place truth beside it. 

Invite spirit’s wisdom to illuminate your cycle of life. 

Know your soul was born to blossom freely in the garden of divine reason..... tending the seeds 
of wholly manifestation.

Then wakes me home again

Last night laced me into space 

Of vague remembering

People holding court  

Situations tarried

Magic to report

Ladies getting married

There was played a trick or two

As situations tarried

I do believe I made it through

I felt that I was carried

School’s on every moment’s breath 

Dreams invite me what to do

The strongest lesson dreams do offer

Is the gift of an expanded view

She is owning her season

Moving her way

Being herself

Springing out truly

In an instant unruly

Cooler and crisper 

 Brighter than bright

Mystical fire

Powerful sight

Marching along to her wind echoed song

Readied and steadied for another day’s dawn

Walking and talking to the beat of her drum

So wonderfully free this day is a plum

Aries time is here at last

An energy that moves so fast

People passing by the door

Back and forth from home to store

Pigeons giving winks and nods

The climate has us less at odds

What hats to choose 

Which ones to wear

Up against sun’s blinding stare

Still to seek the brightness strong

From out the dark and night time long

Each moment bears its’ newcomers 

Silence sounds its’ sweet hummers 

What a life this is we have

What a good good morning 

What gifts befall

What gifts arrive

The miracles is 

We are alive

A Prayer a Day

I used to love leaping fences and climbing trees 

and running races and playing ball and riding my bike 

and lying on the grass in my backyard looking up at the sky 

and feeling a connection to the grace in everything. 

I remember playing with my boxer dog and marveling at her 

capacity to spin around and change directions on a dime. 

She was a marvel of a dog. I loved her so. 

I remember dancing with my twin brother in the 

summer, on the patio and having the best of times. 

We paired well together, truly adoring to dance. 

Like all of us I have had my happy days and my sad days. 

Like everyone I’ve grown through longing, 

laughing,dreaming, wishing, grieving, and a lot of letting go, 

making the necessary adjustments all along the way. 

The good times and 

The not so good times 

Do come and go

In the wind and rain 

In the sunlight and the snow

 I carry much gratitude this day,

taking not a thing for granted, 

being able to 

read and write 

 speak and see

 think and breathe 

and well

 isn’t it a stunning privilege 

just being alive with all the memories of the past , 

truly enthusiastic for the future and its’ potential, 

standing in the gift of body mind

 right here and right now 

glad for every new beat 

of my human heart.

If  I were to choose again

I would choose you again

With you I’d live again in sacred trust

I would come close again to feel the love again

The ease of breath again that flows through us

I’d give to you again my actions true again

 I’d speak with tender words again as passions blend again

If I were to choose again

 I would choose you my friend

I’d  gather flowers from gods’ garden 

To splay their colors at your feet

I would stand up for you 

With loyal body strong

To seek a deeper sight 

To heal all shadows wrong

If  I could choose to fly 

Into our heavens eye

 I’d have my ego die 

A thousand times

“What do I have to offer? ” 
she asked me in my dreams.

I hesitated wondering if I were being
 researched for my material prowess. 

For a moment I did not speak up and my ego began 

edging in dangerously close to take my wheel.

Though feeling somewhat ill at ease to respond initially, I managed to adjust and return to my truth, realizing once again that what I have to offer issues itself purely from the  glory of the unseen. 

It is that part of me that will perhaps

 remain to influence even after my body has vanished from this reality. 

It is my spirit’s essence I humbly offer along 

with my love and the labor of my hands.

For as long as I remain in mortal form,
 I will carry, as I can. 

I will join in to contribute with my imagination 
to the best of my ability.

 I will effort to inspire, as I am invited. 

And I will share whatever coins I manifest. 

I pray this day to be of service, with the least 

degree of self-serving habits, maybe 

just giving a bit more than I take.
