Taking a deep breath
Silent still standing
Watching the sun rise
Diminishing fear
Soulfully listening
Loyal to nature
Praising the sea
Destined to bear
Beyond mortal blindness
Beyond all the knowing
Intending to learn
Determined to see
Crying we felt
Again ourselves trying
Laughing we felt
Again ego dying
Growing now gentle
Growing now older
Heart to heart sealing
Shoulder to shoulder
