For all I have been given 

For every kiss 

For all the sacred gifts 

For friendships

For family

For loves

For the dear dear animals that 

enter my heart in the deepest of ways 

For the music and the melodies playing me

For the rhythm and the rhyme and the poetry 

For each holy muse that steps into my dreams

For the freedom and the privilege
 of breathing human

I thank the Great Creator 
today and ask in innocence,

“What will you have me do in return for all I have been given?”
