A Prayer a Day

An awakened
state of consciousness
is not easily accomplished.
Shifting mortal
paradigms of perception
is no simple task.
It begs for emotional muscle,
leaping into uncharted waters,
beginner’s mind and a
divine prowess of curiosity.
Finding oneself
in unknown, unseen territory,
calls for trust, faith,
courage, spiritual practice,
a surrender into the
holy currents of life,
and the intention to
merge with truth.
