A Prayer a Day

Spontaneity in a given instance
can trump weeks of thoughtful planning.
Standing “stone-still” at times
can be worthy for its own reward in insight.
Swiftness and agility, as circumstance may
demand, can prove to be that life saving move.
There are no absolutes in this
“up for grabs” worldly paradigm.
What works to get the job done is creatively
and consciously using our hearts, hands and spirits
in concert, waking ourselves into a trustworthy and
collective harmony,and mindfully solving
together the problems we face.
Life is a series of unexpected events
rising and falling rising and falling.
Pray we ride this roller coaster spiraled reality
with gratitude, courage, skillful thoughtfulness
and acts of love.
