Thoughts
keep rolling
through my head
as I rise now from my bed
softly softly in my brain
a song is sung of love’s refrain
breathing breathing in the air
comes a chant comes a prayer
comes a purposeful idea
comes the silence comes the trace
comes the image comes the face
comes encouragement to dare
comes the memories to bear
comes a wish
comes a new creative dish
comes a dream
comes a rainbow beam
on a roller coaster ride
musing wisely does abide
around the ground and up and down
furious and fast
no things ever lasts
destinations all the same
together we are in the game
all have stories all have tales
riding on life's human rails
