The cookie jars of truth gleam empty
The world we live in seems low-down crazy
The arms of justice deem badly broken
And the maniacs...(for now)...hold charge
Laughing, loathing…color coding
We all could use some sacred sense
Break it down...turn it 'round
Shake it up... get off the fence
Politics hone a strange "boy-scout"
Might we suggest holy time out
Faking good...breaking bad
Collectively we’ve been had
Begin again
Oh yes we can
With love's insight
With spirit's might
Cutting through all mortal vanity
Restoring our god given sanity
