Flashes of my past mortal missteps
fire up my body… periodically… disturbing the peace
Reminding me of every harsh gesture
and every loveless action I have paid upon this life
My mind uploads and replays tapes of these
past wrong doings...every now and then...egging me on
to ask for high pardon, remembering every blinded
tangle of illusion and every ego driven sin
Oh dear spirit
forgive me now my weak links
that I may be realigned with the
compassionate soul of harmlessness
humbled in demonstrations of divine love
washed clean of illusions
