A Prayer a Day

Isn't it a misconceived ego illusion
that we are separate from one another
all born of a mother and father
Made of the "stuff" of the holy unseen
Red blood running through our bodies
Flesh vulnerable covering our bones
Each and all needing to belong as family
Fellow human beings… brothers and sisters…one
Here for a stunningly limited amount of earth time
This day my prayer is that we learn to live together
in wholesome compassionate ways,
with respect for one another and the all of nature
Why not participate together creating
a light filled great adventure
in the name of love
