We the people
are crying out
for transformation
We are in an existential purge
We are feeling the pain, the strain
the struggle across this planet
As we are collectively
witnessing the massive
wrong doings paid upon
far too many brothers and sisters
We are in a swirl of realization...waking up
No more hesitation or denying the problems
We yearn to refine our interactions with one another
We pray to increase our awareness
and our capacity to respond
with courage, care and sanity
