A Prayer a Day

Everyday there is another
reason for our hearts to break
Listening to the news is enough
to drive any sane person
"looney tunes"
The mean- spirited exchanges
between brothers and sisters all
are
damaging
the very
core and dignity
of the collective soul
The lying and dangerously
aggressive behavior, indeed is forcing
our heads and bodies to shake in disbelief
and confusion, tearing at our hearts even more
I pray this day to The Mother of the Universe and
The Lord of Love for spiritual guidance, to come forth
now making wholesome the nature of our humanity
May we be inspired by divine vibrations of compassion
and holy wisdom to heal and grow as light beings
As was intended from the very start of the all of creation
