A Prayer a Day

Admittedly there are times,

perhaps more times than I realize,

that I take far too much for granted.

Then life shocks and reminds

me when suddenly a good friend dies.

Suddenly a loved one disappears into spirit world and I am awakened again to the preciousness of life.

Fueled and blessed with

the miraculous gift of breath.

And once again I am so grateful

to be walking and talking and

thinking freely and creatively.

Praying this day

for all who have passed

through the veil of the sacred

Rest in holy love
