A Prayer a Day

Though our
words hold power,
we must also ACT to direct
our life force compassionately
and intelligently, joining hands
with heartfelt, soulful intentions
to unearth the truth and address
the roots of all mortal error
Pray we act in concert to let be
and set free the body, minds,
and spirit of the vulnerable,
the innocent and the
oppressed among us
Let us reach within ourselves
to inhale the sacred and divine
Calling out in humble voice
to generate a holy mending
Honoring the god/goddess of nature
Respectful of every breath of life
