A Prayer a Day

Oceans of prayerful tears
are flowing across this blue planet
for all the disruption, displacement
devastating changes, destruction of
nature and families and innocence lost
Overnight so many taking flight
We pray this day for inner sight
Oh Mother of that which is divine
spread your warmth ,spread your kindness
Hear our prayers /Heal our mortal wounds
Lift our spirits high into your skies of clarity
Open our eyes/Open our hearts
Help us remember we are born of
that which is holy and sacred
here as brothers and sisters
to grow our souls together
through the grace
of love and light
