A Prayer a Day

When the heat of the sun
cuts like a blade, praise be the
goddess, her trees and her shade
When waters run low
for to reap and to sow,
thank the goddess of rain
come to wash away pain
Grateful for angels keeping
watch through the night
Pray we enter each day
knowing what's wrong
knowing what's right
