A Prayer a Day

What is it that
has so many souls
acting out in seemingly wild ,
confused and ill-tempered ways
Determined daily, I tell myself, all shall
not be lost to misunderstandings
and discordant, power hungry,
self centered egos.
For there are
angels,(thank goodness),
walking this earth, serving with
healing purpose, spreading
seeds of sanity... holy and harmless
Let us in
prayerful action
with sacred intention
come to mitigate damages
done by egoic
power mongers
to elevate ourselves
in collective awareness
Let us grow together in
restorative gardens of light
That we may alas live harmoniously
as brothers and sister and others in love
