A Prayer a Day

I believe many of us are concerned,
about what's going on with every breath
of the here and now
Who, what and why spread loveless seeds
upon humanity to take form toxically,
stirring the collective soul
infiltrating present day reality
in such combative waves
Indeed we are being challenged
well beyond the comfort zones of our spirits
Swimming in strong chaotic currents
Praying with great intensity to find our way
Together to follow the paths of light
Aiming to resolve our conflicts creatively
Soulfully reaching toward our better selves
Seeking to realize the sacred wisdom within
Declaring love to be the stronger choice,
The healing balm.
The holy hand, The divine voice
To mend our broken parts
Returning us to the garden
Listening,
