A Prayer a Day

On this
Good Friday,
I lift my arms
above my head
toward nature's sky
Both my hands open wide
absorbing and feeling
the tingle of divine
vibrations rippling and rushing
into and through my body/mind,
delighting my humble mortal being-ness
And to the heavens I appeal soulfully,
praying for humanity to elevate its
thought-forms in
the name of peace
Sowing seeds of
wholesome brotherhood,
sisterhood and other-hood
Inviting spirit to embrace
each one of us in blankets
of love and light
