Street's a bit gritty
Feeling and dealing with life
Listening in passing
Car radio blasting
No getting away from the news
What to choose Win or loose What to choose
Give us the strength to hold on to each other
Give us the courage to stand tall and true
Loving our sisters
Loving our brothers
Wholesomely knowing now what to do
Give us the wisdom to truthfully be
Give us the vision to honestly see
Truth in the light
Holy power and sacred sight
