“A Stormy Sky”

A Prayer A Day
12/16/2020
A waxing moon
A stormy sky
A holy moment
A blink of an eye
Mysteries to be mused
Why is life so fleeting
Why must
people
die
?

“She Brings”
Marjorie Lipari©2020
A Prayer a Day
12/15/2020
Sunbeams and moonbeams
Rainbows and clouds
Oceans and water falls
Monkeys and cows
Snowflakes and blue lakes
Roses and bees
Wild horses
Seed tosses
Koalas and trees
Sea shells that sing
Rad colors of spring
To the prowess of nature
And the life-force
She brings

“Peace Across the Universe”
Marjorie Lipari©2005-2020
A Prayer a Day
12/13/2020
Peace across the universe
Embracing humankind
Peace delivers miracles
On high a holy rainbow sign
Peace deep down into the roots,
Into the core of nature’s base
Peace between the lines written
Sharing dreams we all chase
Peace with every inhalation, on every breath of air
Peace for compassion’s sake and every painful tear
Peace prevail to lift the sail
And heal the body/ mind
Peace prevail in loving harmony
To nurture seeds of every kind

“Lungs of Sanity”
Marjorie Lipari©2020
A Prayer a Day
12/12/2020
Kindhearted
Yet nobody’s fool
Steadfast
Yet malleable
Relaxed
Yet alert
Mature
Yet lighthearted
In the now
Yet still a student of the past
Imaginative
Yet reaching for the truth
Romantic
Yet holistically pragmatic
Lover
Of the goddess principles
Lover
Of the godly principles
Lover
Of all hearts beating for humanity
Praising
Every deep breath taken with
compassionate lungs of sanity
Listening,
Rev. Mudra

“All That Breathes”

A Prayer a Day
12/11/2020
To the all that breathes
To the animal kingdom
To the innocent eyes of the cow
To the sweet purr of the affectionate feline
To the sinewy and the magnificent power
of the wild stallion running across the range
To the loyalty of every fabulous canine
To the undying stamina of the donkey and mule
To every variety of color and shape and
form of life, on this great blue/green planet
To the gardens thriving with flowers
To the wisdom of trees and the creepy crawlies
To the brilliant sea critters
To the laboring honey making bees
To the winged in flight
To the vulnerable life
that move through the night
Prayerfully awed with gratitude for this world
Feeling privileged to be sharing time and space
with the grace and the miracles of
Mother Nature
May she only be loved
and respected for
her godliness
