A Prayer a Day

To the all that breathes
To the animal kingdom
To the innocent eyes of the cow
To the sweet purr of the affectionate feline
To the sinewy and the magnificent power
of the wild stallion running across the range
To the loyalty of every fabulous canine
To the undying stamina of the donkey and mule
To every variety of color and shape and
form of life, on this great blue/green planet
To the gardens thriving with flowers
To the wisdom of trees and the creepy crawlies
To the brilliant sea critters
To the laboring honey making bees
To the winged in flight
To the vulnerable life
that move through the night
Prayerfully awed with gratitude for this world
Feeling privileged to be sharing time and space
with the grace and the miracles of
Mother Nature
May she only be loved
and respected for
her godliness
