A Prayer a Day

Might we take better care of each other
without rupture to personal destinies.
Might we live together with each other
divorced of possessive tendencies or jealous egos.
Might we give as much as we can and
learn the grace of elegantly receiving.
Might we pay respect to the spirit
of life and the cycles of time.
Pray god we purposefully use our
hands to heal and our hearts to wholly love.
May we order our priorities this day
with skilled compassion.
