Don’t flowers
know they’re beautiful
Don’t trees know
they are love for birds
Don’t eagles ride
on the kisses of wind
Don't ants know
the muscle of community
Don’t dolphins compose
the songs of the sea
Don’t ocean waves
realize their power
Isn’t the eye on
the clock aware of the hour
Don’t you in this moment
know who you are
Don’t you in this instant
seek deep to go far
into unknowns
surrendered
raising the bar
lighthearted,
courageous,
determined and free
to complete
what you started
to live and to be
a hero to spirit
creating the story
with compassion
and kindness
with reason and glory
