A Prayer a Day

She put her toes into the river cold.... preparing
a body/mind surrender to ride the rapids’ flow.
Leaping and releasing entirely into the rush of a marvelous wet reality.
She luxuriated the currents carrying her effortlessly onward and over.
Her imagination spinning.....as she continued toward another journey’s unknown.
She loved the spirit of the river!
She could hear it laughing!
She thrived on its aliveness!
She merged completely into its unconditional power and mystery,
deft, fluid and sensually expanded....realized in the arms of a crystalline mother.
She again was born free....delighted....musing the waves of a new day.
“AH life “ she shouted
“ AH life” she sang
