A Prayer a Day

Let us pray this day for those among us
who have so little access to what is needed
in order to live their lives with personal dignity.
Those who are homeless….who are despairing.
Mothers and children, and far too many of our men,who are in hardship and struggle, thwarted and challenged in systems laden with regulation and impossible rules.
May the spirit and soul of humankind this day be infused with a sacred power that will illuminate those who are in charge.
May hearts and minds open wider to increase
our collective empathetic intelligence.
May a brilliant clarity now be descending
upon this world, bringing about holy shifts of paradigms, having us visiting our priorities, encouraging us taking better care of one another.
May we gather our strength of will to increase our compassion.
May we focus our intentions on lifting the burden of suffering from the backs of our beloved brothers and sisters, inviting divine love to heal and nurture all those in need.
